NIHON KOHDEN CARDIOLIFE AED – 3100K
SPECIAL FEATURES
This section highlights the special features of the NIHON KOHDEN CARDIOLIFE AED – 3100K. The subsequent sub-sections will explain these features in greater detail.
AUTOMATIC SELF-CHECKING DEVICE
An important feature of the AED – 3100 is its self-checking feature which runs daily self-test on its battery, pads, and circuit. Because of this, your AED is always functioning at its maximum capacity. As a result, it is always ready to save a life in an emergency.
DURABLE AND COMPACT
Another feature of the AED-3100 is its wide range of operating temperatures from -5˚C to 50˚C. As it complies with the IP55 standard, it can be used in severe circumstances. In addition, the AED-3100 is 40% smaller compared with its previous model. The AED-3100 also has a compact body that doesn’t require a large space for installation. Moreover, it is sufficiently portable to bring to most emergency sites.
SAFE & EFFICIENT
Another highlight feature is its child mode switch, which makes it safe to use on children. The International Resuscitation Guideline* recommends reducing the energy for child patients to avoid burning the heart muscle. The AED-3100 complies with this guideline because it can reduce the energy to 50/70J without changing the pads.
CONTINUOUS VF ANALYSIS
Fourthly, continuous VF analysis is available on AED-3100. With this function, the user can analyze the ECG waveforms even during CPR, and energy charging starts before the shock is advised. This helps you deliver faster defibrillation than ever before.
FAST ANALYSIS AND CHARGING
Another feature is that it takes less than 15 seconds from turning the power on to discharge. Faster charging time helps you deliver energy quickly during the VF analysis.
WITHIN THE REACH OF ANYBODY
Finally, the use of this AED is simple and intuitive, even for one who is not a medical professional. Because the AED -3100 is ergonomically designed, you can easily operate it without any hassle by following these easy steps:
